Casting with JIC

At JUST IN CAST we conduct project-oriented castings according to each client’s individual specifications. For this process we utilise a combination of the following tried and tested casting systems:

Live / Video Casting

Once we have received the client’s specifications, we put out an appropriate casting call to different regional, national or international agencies as required by the client. From the applications we receive, we create a pre-selection of sedcards and send them to our client. The client is then able to select their favourite applicants, who we call in for a live casting.

Facts: the complete live / video casting package includes:

• Collection of applicants and creation of sedcards for suggestions to our client (from call out to different agencies)
• Issuing the client with a pre-selection of sedcards from applicants
• With client’s selection, scheduling and coordination of castings with the appropriate agencies and applicants
• Organisation of casting – locations / venues
• Contracting a director for castings – in day(s)
• Casting videos of applicants including contracting camera person and equipment
• Editing, selection, cataloguing and upload of video material for client
• Arranging and booking client’s favourite applicants

E – Casting

According to the client briefing, we create a casting call out for different agencies of the relevant region (or country, as desired). We compile a selection of the applicants and send their sedcards to the clients. The client chose a selection of the supplied applicant’s sedcards for e-casting and informs us of the number of e-castings that they would like to receive for each role.

Facts: the complete e-casting package includes:

• Collection of the first sedcard suggestions (call out to different agencies
• Creation of a pre-selection of sedcards
• Creation of guidelines for e-castings for the selected applicants including an applicant briefing
• Collection and sorting of the incoming e-casting videos
• Organization and naming of videos for client
• Arranging and booking client’s favourite applicants

In the course of one of our casting projects, we draw up a shortlist of candidates based on your specifications. The complete "classical casting" package includes both the sourcing of candidates and the scheduling, coordination and organization of a suitable location. You can then select your favourite candidates from our shortlist. We will, of course, agree in advance the number of recommendations you would like to be presented with.

Our flexible scouts take your wishes and ideas to the nation and, if necessary, the world. In the street-casting process, our scouts track down the perfect new faces for your project. This type of casting is especially recommended for a targeted search
for individual personalities, or as a supplement to classical casting.

We regularly publish our current casting projects and wanted ads on our website and give candidates the opportunity to submit a speculative application. In coordination with you, the client, we also use this option of our platform as a way to reach possible candidates. This option is used exclusively as a supplement to the above casting varieties.

JUST IN CAST has both an extensive, internal database of professional artists from various sectors and a pool of "amateurs" and "semi-Professionals" ("People") from a wide range of categories. Searching within our own database forms the starting point of all of our casting projects.
